Through out the past as the humans, most of animals, birds and other beings flourished in big social groups. There had to be some kind of a structure, a system that works within that social group in order to bind it together; such a system is conformity. Conformity symbolizes all the laws, rules and norms created by society or big social group. We were being guarded by conformity and we thrived. But when conformity helped us so much, then how did it become so septic?
They say one thing leads to another. Well in this case conformity lead to the feeling of being conformed.
With the passing of time that system needed to be changed as well. Change is necessary to life, and change is constantly reoccurring all by itself. The irony is when anything stops to change, it becomes conformed all by itself.
Society has conformed us so that they can stop us from thinking freely, also known as third world phenomenon; when we are forced to see something that doesn't exist in real world. It's one of the biggest scams that surrounds us. And the fucked up thing is that we eat it all up.
we all think that my life is different from everyone else but there will be many people doing the same thing just as me. Think about it we go for a rafting expedition and we label it as adventure. The true meaning of adventure is being in the unknown.
In a wild mountain river, on a raft, to us it seems adventure, some thing we have never done before, but think about it within a month about 50 people might have sat on the same raft, on the same seat, where u sat to have the same adventure. Take a canoe and paddle solo in that wild river that would be true adventure. But to most of us its a crazy idea, because its not safe.The raft had 4 life guards and well trained rowers so its safe , yet in a year about 10-20 causalities are found. If something could have happened it will happen in raft or in the canoe too. Non of them are safe. Safety is just an illusion. They conformed us to believe that there is something called security. It's just one of the millions of the examples of being conformed.
All of the greatest mind that the history has seen, walked on a different path, but before they walked freely with their free minds, they broke their walls of conformity.
