There are a lot of successful people but most of them are not good human-beings; because they choose success over environment/ peace/ feelings/ love/ relationships. What does success mean when you don't have time for your family or kids. we study business ethics or marketing ethics in a study course; which tells us what a "successful company" is supposed to do, like
reuse and recycling of byproducts but very few are doing that. they have made those "ethics" which were supposed to be the basic pillars, now is just "bookish knowledge"; they have CONFORMED our minds, our thoughts. we see what they want us to see, we hear what they want us to hear, we speak what they want us to speak, just like their puppets.
Not very long time ago a very "successful person" of a very big oil company, wanted to pass his fleets of shipment of oil to a country by passing though a gulf country who's leader was a dictator. so the dictator told the "successful person" to pay double the taxes or he won't allow the shipments to by pass his country's water. now the "successful person" thought that through these shipments he would get lets say 100 thousand billion, because of the dictator his fleets will now have to reroute and this will cost him time,money,labor etc, henceforth a loss of 10 percent. so he calls his buddy [the president of his country] and tells him the situation and also reminds him for next year's elections for which all "successful people" will raise funds for him and he would hike his oil price. now stuck in a pickle that buddy [the president] calls war on the dictator's country. they tell us "we are tying to free that gulf country from that dictator" and we listen. after years of war the dictator was killed, thousands of lives on both side were lost, country fell in recession, people lost their jobs. why? just because a "successful person" couldn't bear a 10 percent loss!!!
but most of us don't know this actual story because we see what they want us to see, we hear what they want us to hear, we speak what they want us to speak.
Let's take a step back and look at the bigger picture not the one they are trying to show us, let's break down these walls of conformity which they have created for our free minds and thoughts.
We should try to be a better person/ a better human-being. When we achieve that success will follow.
we will always have choices in every situation; wrong is always easy and right is always hard.
so choose wisely.
